Heidi

I have waited a little over a month to post these beautiful bridal portraits of Heidi.  We met up at Legacy Park. We took her bridal portraits an hour before a fierce storm came rolling through Greenville. My dear friend, Annie, let me borrow a weathered wicker chair that gave a great vintage look.  Heidi's dress is handmade and the lace was quite elegant.  Check out some of my favorites from her bridal session.

Elisa and Daniel Engagement

Elisa and Daniel love life and are quite creative.  Elisa is a dancer and recently sprained her ankle; but that did not stop this spirited girl from wearing heels!  She is a theater major at Anderson University where she met her fiance Daniel.  He currently works for Wells Fargo and is a part of the worship team at his church.  They go to church in a renovated movie theater.  I love that Elisa was excited to show off her newest clothing deals--this girl knows how to shop!  They started the shoot with a casual look and then changed into their second outfits to create a 40s outfit.  You can tell they both have a theatrical background as they took cues easily and I did not have to pose them for pictures--every photographers dream!  I can't wait for their wedding in the spring.

Danielle and Nathan Celebrate 8 years

Nathan and Danielle have become very close, dear friends to use since this summer.  We were excited when they asked us to join them for 5 days on Oak Island for a little time away.  We spent most of our time on the beach.  There was a local coffee shop we could ride bikes to that had the most amazing cinnamon buns.  Nathan and Danielle just celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary!  To commemorate this event, Danielle wanted some update pictures of the two of them.  We headed to the beach around sun set and got some great shots.  By the way, these two both have Amazing hair :)

Not only was the sunset beautiful, the moon was also full and stunning as well.

Ft. Fischer Aquarium Sneak Peak

We took the ferry over to Ft. Fischer one day (due to the fact that the ferry to Bald Head Island would be $100 per couple vs $5 for all of us).  While we were there we stopped and visited the aquarium.  Here is a sneak peak; more fun aquatic life pictures to come!

Did you know that the small string like tentacles are used for stinging and the larger ones are used to bring food to the "body" of the jellyfish to eat.  I also learned that jellyfish have no control over what they sting; its like an automatic reflex when something touches it.

Oak Island Sneak Peak

We just got back from vacation with our dear friends Nathan and Danielle on Oak Island. They recently celebrated their 8 year wedding anniversary and Danielle wanted some current photos.  We headed to the beach right at sunset.  Here is a sneak peak and there are many more to come that will be posted soon!

Wedding at the Loom

The fabulous Josh Jones of J.Jones Photography let me shadow/assist him recently for a wedding at a newer venue in Simpsonville called The Loom.  Growing up in that area I can remember this old cotton mill being run down for year.  Seeing the transformation was quite remarkable.  The lucky couple, Casey and Jayma, were laid back and beautiful.  They paid attention to the details which made shooting this wedding exciting.  Be sure to check out Josh's pictures of this wedding as well at joshjonesphoto.blogspot.com
