Steven and Catie Sneak Peek

I just finished uploading all the photos from Catie and Steven's Sweet Southern Wedding this weekend. Here is one of my favorites after flipping through them...

I had the pleasure of meeting Andrea's whole family today for a family photo shoot. I just uploaded them but these are just too precious not to post as the sneak peek. Maggie, Emma, and Miah are adorable!

Donna's Family Maternity Session

If these cute boys look familiar, it is because I recently did a photo session for their third birthday. Donna and Will are expecting their third child in a few weeks and wanted to get some family and maternity pictures before this new little one arrives. Anytime I work with a family with small children I always ask what are the "must have" photos. Children have a short attention span and can be unpredictable it is important to get the must have shots first. In this case, we started with the family shots, then got a few with the boys and their sweet mommy. Once they were done, they were rewarded with Dunkin Donuts (yum) and ate them cheerfully while I got a few shots with their parents together. Will is a great dad and took the boys off to the Dog Park to see the dogs while we got some maternity shots of Donna alone. This is by far one of my favorite families and the portraits are just stunning from this shoot. I cannot wait til your little (boy or girl) arrives in the next month!

Meet Isabelle. She was less than 2 weeks old when these were taken. She was so tiny and cute!

Isabelle has two amazing siblings. Meet Jude. This kid is energetic and super fun. He is a big helper already!

Meet Julianne. She is full of laughs and very nurturing to her new baby sister.

I absolutely adore these in black and white.

The lighting was just beautiful. These were actually taken in their backyard but I love the forest feel.

Charlie and Owen

I first met Charlie and Owen over two years ago in nursery at DPC. I have fond memories of these sweet baby boys who are now turning 3! I cannot believe how quickly time goes by. I am amazed to see their personalities continue to develop as they grow into little boys. They were absolutely precious this past Monday at their photo shoot at Furman, where their wonderful parents met. Here are my favorites from the shoot!

Catie and Steven Engagement!

Meet Catie and Steven. I absolutely love this couple! They met when Catie worked for The Julie Valentine Center and Steven was on the board for this nonprofit in Greenville formerly known as Greenville Rape Crisis Center. Catie is now working on her Masters in Social Work--so of course we connected the first time we met! Steven is a lawyer here in Greenville and these two are looking forward to their

Spring 2012 wedding.

Hannah's Wish

A few weeks back, I received an email from The Children's Wish Foundation International based out of Atlanta GA, a non-profit organization, which fulfills wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses. They told me the story about an 11 year old girl who loves art and who has Chronic Kidney Disease. When I met up with Hannah she told me all about her wish day which included a limo to the mall, a shopping spree, and lunch with her family. Her day ended with her photo shoot with me where we incorporated all of her new items she purchased during the day. It was neat to hear how the different stores, including Justice and Bath and Body Works, went above and beyond in helping out with her wish. Hannah was a joy to work with today.
